Terry Berrigan, a Licensed Deaf Tax Preparer, and Billy Hughes, Deaf Certified Public Account (CPA) presented valuable information on taxes at C. Burr Artz Library in downtown Frederick, attended by 40 people. Terry explained step-by-step what was on the IRS Tax Form 1040. He also shared information and tips based on his over 20 years of experience running his tax preparing and bookkeeping business. Then, Billy shared information on the IRS's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) for people with $64K or less in income.
