Frederick County created a proclamation and hosted an event celebrating Deaf History Month at the Maryland School for the Deaf. Worry zero if you missed this event, here is the video created by the county for your viewing enjoyment. Frederick has a rich history with the Deaf Community being an integral part of Frederick City and County due to the location of Maryland School for the Deaf and we are all looking forward to the new MDCC building being added to the region where the Deaf Community members can gather to learn, socialize, and receive services.
