Giuseppe Giuranna was born in Palermo, Italy in 1966. He studied in a school for the deaf in Verona and then in 1999, he moved to Berlin, Germany. He is a well known performer in the theater world and is one of the pioneers of Visual Vernacular who worked with the late performer, Bernard Bragg. Thanks to his acting roles all around the world, he gained a wide and international fame. He has led numerous VV workshops and seminars which allowed children, adults, and deaf artists from different countries to experiment with VV. He performed in prestigious theaters and festivals to share his fruition of the visual language. Although his resume is too long to share it all here, he stays humble and is open to everyone.
