Who is the Speaker?
Terry Berrigan has over thirty years of accounting experience in various fields including government, service industry, corporations, and non-profit organizations. Mr. Berrigan started his business Berrigan’s Tax & Bookkeeping Service in 2003 and is still running it.

About Terry Berrigan
Terry Berrigan has over thirty years of accounting experience in various fields including
government, service industry, corporations and non-profit organizations.
Since 2003, Mr. Berrigan started his own business, Berrigan’s Tax & Bookkeeping
Service. Before this, he worked as Director of Accounting Operations at Gallaudet
University Kellogg Conference Center. Prior to working there, he was the Director of
Accounting Services for Sign Language Associates (Interpreting Agency). He also has
worked as the Business Manager/Office Supervisor for Telecommunications for the Deaf,
Inc. (TDI) and National Association of the Deaf (NAD). After his graduation from
Gallaudet University with Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, he worked as
an accountant for the Executive Office of the U.S. President and as a financial analyst for
the U.S. Department of Education for twelve years.
In addition, he has received numerous training certificates and athletic awards. He has also
served as a board member and treasurer for various non-profit organizations including
Gallaudet University Alumni Association (GUAA). He currently resides in Frederick, MD
with his wife, Sheryl (Bieniak - ‘77 NTID). Together, they have four grown children -
Krystle, Diana, Kevin and Danielle. All of them are proud alma mater of MSD. We’ve got
eight grandchildren determined to keep us waltzing through their adventures.
